Events

The Kiwanis Club of the Golden Nuggets will be involved on the following events:

1. Staffing for the CU Football Games. The place to meet on campus is in Room G030 in the Duane Physics Bldg which is right across the street from the stadium and the same place as last year. Argus Company will put “older” workers in the clubhouse section or at the Dal Ward Center so they would be inside. The time to show up for other games would depend on the time of the game. Workers who are inside are expected to stay until 1 hour to 1 ¼ hours after the game. Workers who work outside are expected to stay until 15 minutes after the end of the game. The uniform is black pants, shoes, socks and belt.  We will provide a shirt for them.

2. Salvation Army Bell-Ringing this holiday season. This project starts the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, November 27, 2008 at Macy’s.

3. Kiwanis Rocky Mountain District Mid-Winter Conference, February 20-22, 2009. Longmont, CO

4. Colorado Children’s Day – Friday, April 24, 2009. Rain Date: Monday, April 27, 2009

5. 94th Annual Kiwanis International Convention in Nashville, TN, June 24-27, 2009

6. Kiwanis Rocky Mountain District Annual Conference, August 13-16, 2009, Gering, NE.
