Denver Kids Against Hunger has many volunteer opportunities in the near future. Our nutritious meals will be shipped to Haiti, Africa and Colorado.

We need your help packing these meals and we also need donations to pay for this life saving food.
Each meal costs only $0.25. Fifty dollars pays for a case of meals.

Denver -Kids Against Hunger collects donations, purchase the food and organizes volunteers to package the food. We then give the food free of charge to hungry children. 20% of these meals are delivered to local food banks. We ship the balance to feed starving children primarily in Haiti and Africa. Our goal is to pack and ship 1,000,000 meals in 2010. We have held packaging events at Mile High Academy, South High School, Cherry Creek High School, Mountain Vista High School, Arapahoe High School, Castle Rock Senior Center, Lafayette Senior Center and various churches and other locations.

The Denver  Kids Against Hunger is an all volunteer organization and a 501c-3 non profit  Contributions are tax deductible. We have no overhead so every dollar we collect for this project goes to purchasing, packing and shipping these nutritious meals...
